Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) fiber is processed via a melt spinning process of polyphenylene sulfide resin. It has found a range of uses thanks to its remarkable properties, including strong heat resistance, excellent chemical resistance and self-extinguishing flame retardancy. PPS fiber is capable of environmental protection, chemical filtration among many other fields.
